Lakers and Clippers interested in Paul

Chris Paul isn’t sure if he’s still with the Warriors in the future, but if he leaves the Bay Area, his next destination isn’t right for California. But because Paul is still under contract, the Golden State Warriors have until June 28 to fully guarantee the remaining one-year, $30 million of his contract or waive the experienced point guard. According to sources, teams like the Lakers and Clippers are interested in Paul if he becomes a free agent, as the 19-year NBA veteran played for the Warriors in 2023-24 and served as the starting point guard in Stephen Curry’s absence from the game. In his lone season with the Bay Area, Paul made 58 appearances, averaging 9.2 points, 6.8 assists and 3.9 rebounds in 26.4 minutes per game. The Golden State Warriors may use Paul’s salary to trade for a younger player considering he’s 39 years old, but it’s still a good option if they decide to keep the experienced point guard.

Chris Paul, who currently plays for the Golden State Warriors, is widely regarded as one of the greatest point guards of all time, a 12-time NBA All-Star, NBA All-Star Game MVP, and in college, he set school freshman records for three-point field goal percentage, free throw percentage, assists and steals. For his outstanding play, Paul was named ACC Rookie of the Year and ACC Third-Team All-Conference. Paul was very attractive as he played with Clippers star James Harden for the Houston Rockets for two seasons between 2017 and 2019.

It would seem that it is not unreasonable for teams like the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers to be interested in Paul, after all, the results are there and no one will be left untouched, 20% Off Nike wishes Chris Paul the best of luck.
